Considered the “world`s happiest nation”, the people of Vanuatu delight in sharing their culture and exceptional islands. Join Park Ranger Jay Robinson`s dramatic presentation of his adventures through this Pacific archipelago. On the island of Tanna, scramble up the trembling cone of Yasur volcano as it blasts clots of molten lava high into the night sky. Visit traditional villages on Pentecost to witness naghol; death-defying rituals where the native men clamber up jungle towers, tie vines to their ankles and leap. Backpack up through the rain-forests and ash plain deserts of Ambrym to peer down into writhing lava-lakes deep in the summit craters of Mt. Marum. Tour pounding cascades, coral reefs, picture-perfect beaches and the vivid cultural dances of Efate. |
