Malama I Ke Kai–Caring for the Ocean
This month Kaloko-Honokohau National Historical Park on the Island of Hawaii held their annual Hawaiian Cultural Festival for children. The theme of this year’s two-day event was Malama I Ke Kai–Caring for the Ocean. Fourth grade students from local schools took part in many activities that centered on the ocean and its protection.
