Kaloko-Honokohau National Historical Park Cultural Festival next Thursday and Friday!

The park’s annual cultural festival will be on at ‘Ai’opio fishtrap November 15th and 16th. Over 250 fourth grade students will be on the beach each day from 9am-1pm participating in over 14 different activities. This festival is held every year to give fourth grade students in West Hawaii the opportunity to experience Hawaiian cultural learning in the outdoors. Park Rangers visit all the schools that will be attending before the festival and then go back to the schools after the festival to give students Jr. Ranger badges for thier participation.
