Listen to Hawaii’s Humpback Whales Singing LIVE!

January 5, 2013

Did you know you can listen to Hawaii’s whales singing live via the internet?

It’s that moment we’ve all been waiting for: The Jupiter Foundation has turned on their live streaming of Hawaii’s humpback whales singing in real-time!

The sounds you will hear come from the area just off Puako along the Kohala Coast of the Big Island of Hawaii. The waters along the Kohala Coast are part of the Hawaiian Islands Humpback Whale National Marine Sanctuary (NOAA). If you want to do more than just hear these whales, stop by Pu’ukohola Heiau National Historic Site (about five miles north of Puako) for the park’s weekly whale watches: every Friday through March 29 (9am-11am).

Enjoy!!!
