La Ho’i Ho’i Ea (Hawaiian Flag Day) remembered

August 1, 2012

Hawaiian Flag Day

The story of how the Hawaiian Flag was restored is an interesting one that took place in the 19th century. It will take you back to the year 1843. The story is not well-known or even well-remembered – but it is an important one in the history of the Hawaiian kingdom.
