Wow! It’s hard to believe, but Hawaii’s humpback whale season is almost over. Since mid-December, volunteers and staff from the Hawaiian Islands Humpback Whale National Marine Sanctuary have conducted weekly whale watches for the public at Pu`ukohola Heiau National Historic Site.

This Friday marks the park’s final whale watch for the 2013 season. The whale watch will take place Friday, March 29, 2013 (9:00am-11:00am). Don’t miss this great opportunity to observe and learn about these wonderful Giants of the Sea!

Not in Hawaii? You can listen to our Humpback Whales singing LIVE (while the whales are still here of course!)

If you would like additional information about the whale watche or other upcoming events please contact park staff at 882-7218 Ext. 1011 or visit the park website at www.nps.gov/puhe.
