This map provides a sense of place to the work we do with photos and brief descriptions of the surroundings. Sprinkled throughout the text are little reminders of why these resources are important in the first place.

“Easily find out about the condition of the plants, invasive plants, fish, corals, water… or whatever we monitor in the park you work in, live near, or just love.”

Stay tuned for maps of all the national park units in the U.S. tropical Pacific.

What a fantastic resource for not only Hawai’i Volcanoes National Park, but all the Pacific Island Parks. I enjoyed reading this, and checking out all the areas / species you are monitoring ~ not only an important program, but these new maps and links provides lots of terrific information!
