The Singing Continues…

April 18, 2013

Did you know you can listen to Hawaii’s whales singing live via the internet?

It’s mid-April and many humpback whales are still in Hawaiian waters! Of course we all know that they won’t be here for very much longer…so there’s only a short time left to enjoy Jupiter Foundation’s live streaming of Hawaii’s humpback whales singing!

The sounds you will hear come from the area just off Puako along the Kohala Coast of the Big Island of Hawaii. The waters along the Kohala Coast are part of the Hawaiian Islands Humpback Whale National Marine Sanctuary (NOAA). If you want to do more than just hear these whales, stop by Pu’ukohola Heiau National Historic Site, which provides a good vantage point for watching the whales.

Enjoy!!!
