National Park of American Samoa Goes ZUMBA!

July 22, 2013

Superintendent Jim Bacon instituted a new element to their park physical training program. At least once a month, park staff shall be engaging themselves into team sports or any physical fitness training as a group. This objective will help the park staff get of out their comfort zones and most especially their divisional distinctions. But the main bottom line is to get to kno0w each other and build camaraderie among themselves and attain good physical health.

This time, park staff tried Zumba as their group exercise. Despite the windy, cloudy weather and some slight rain, park staff was still motivated to go out and just to simply have “fun.”
