Park rangers at War in the Pacific National Historical Park on Guam continue to offer engaging, exciting walks, talks, and programs to help you appreciate the special historic and environmental resources on our island.

Tomorrow (Sunday) we’ll hike to one of the lesser-visited sites within the park, a battery of 3 large guns installed during World War II. Although these are the only guns in their original positions protected by the park, we’ll discover another reason why they are particularly unique. Plan to meet at the Veterans’ Cemetery – here – at 2pm, and then we’ll caravan to the hiking trail. Total time should be about 45 minutes.

Can’t make tomorrow’s hike? That’s ok… there’s always more to do. Keep tuned to the park website, our Twitter, or this blog for our upcoming schedule of events for March. We hope to see you soon!
